Danielle carey

Primary School Teacher, Writer, Poet/Storyteller and Creative Practitioner

Danielle has worked as teacher and group facilitator in a variety of contexts over the past 20 years in the arts, primary school education and outdoor education industries. She has also managed and implemented a variety of creative-based events, programs and community spaces and worked as a freelance writer, performer and art creator. She is passionate about pedagogy, inclusive education, literacy, storytelling and bushcraft and is the mum of two adventurous and wild children.

Wild Ground Facilitator, Artist, Poet, Environmental Scientist

Julie-Ann spent a lot of time wild outside growing up in Darug and Gundungurra Country. She spent two decades studying environmental science and creative arts at university, with 7 of those years living off grid and 18 of those years raising kids. Over the last ten years she has offered diverse connective workshops for people of all ages

caradene hannan

Wild Ground Facilitator, Visual Artist, Horticulturist

Caradene is a home educating parent, with a background in Art Education, horticulture and garden design. She is also a visual artist and all round creative. A Blue Mountains resident for 18 years, Caradene is an avid bushwalker, nature lover and has a special interest in local, native flora and fauna

AMELIE VANDERSTOCK

Wild Ground Facilitator, Ecologist, Performer

Amelie is a pollinator ecologist, educator and musical performer. Cross-pollinating music and science, she works with local councils, schools and communities to facilitate nature based learning through creative, participatory processes. Amelie is often found with a ukulele and magnifying glass in hand… just in case the bee-utiful bees of the bush have a song to share!
